    Bishop Dwenger senior Ryan Watercutter is headed to the Indiana University football program, his father, Dave, confirmed via text message Tuesday.
  • Dwenger 2-way player Watercutter commits to IU
    Ryan Watercutter, helped Bishop Dwenger reach the Class 4A state championship game last fall, committed Monday to play football at Indiana as a preferred walk-on, according to his Twitter account.


Snider boys schedule changes

There have been some changes made to the Snider boys basketball schedule. The Nov. 30 game at home vs. Muncie Central has been moved to Feb. 20, the Dec. 1 game atAndersonis now Jan. 26 and the Jan. 12 game at home againstWarsawis now Jan. 5.

New Haven senior to Marian

New Haven senior defensive lineman Anthony Martin has committed to Marian University. Martin was a first-team All-NHC defensive end for the Bulldogs who had 116½ sacks this past season.


Angola's Simon Brown and Homestead's Sydney Buck have been recognized as IBCA/Subway Players of the Week.

Brown, a senior, scored 34 points in a season-opening 59-56 victory over Wawasee to win the District 1 boys honor.

Buck averaged 29 points in victories over Marion and Huntington North to win the District 1 girls laurels. Her eight three-pointers and 38 points in a 77-44 victory over Marion were school records.
