Statement as issued Monday by the Allen Circuit Court:

Allen Circuit Court Judge Thomas Felts was elected to the Indiana Judicial Conference Board of Directors on November 29, 2012. Judge Felts will represent District 7 on the Board of Directors. District 7, which is one of twenty-six (26) Judicial Districts in Indiana, encompasses all of Allen County. He was elected by the trial court judges in Allen County and will serve a two (2) year term. The Board is the policy-making arm of the Indiana Supreme Court.

“I am honored to have been chosen by my colleagues to represent them on this important body and I pledge to do my best to serve them and Allen County”, stated Judge Felts.

Judge Felts also serves on the Indiana Judges Association Board of Managers; the Indiana State Bar Association Board of Governors and the Commission on Courts; and locally on the Foellinger Foundation Board of Directors and Allen County Community Correction Board of Directors.
