Caleb Swanigan scored 20 points to lead the Homestead boys basketball team to a 68-46 victory over Bishop Dwenger on Saturday night.
John Geller added 18 points for the Spartans, who were up 10 points at halftime and pulled away.
Trevor Osborn had 13 for the Spartans.
Bishop Dwenger was paced by Kyle Hartmans 19 points and Ryan Christmans nine on the road.
PENN 70, SOUTH SIDE 59: Austin Torres, a Notre Dame recruit, had 32 points, 13 rebounds and 12 blocks for visiting Penn.
Devin Jones led the Archers with 14 points, while Trae Masten and Nate Thomas both scored 10.
COLUMBIA CITY 57, MARION 44: Derek Hinen scored 21 points – he made 10 of 13 free throws – and the Eagles won at home.
Mason Coverstone added 13 points.
Marion got 12 apiece from Hunter Rose and Alec Turner.
SNIDER 72, EAST NOBLE 34: Four players scored in double figures, led by Leander Williams 14 points, to lead Snider on the road. Devan Lowe had 13 points, Aaron Washington 12 and Stephen Halstead 10.
East Noble was led by Houston Patees nine points.
DEKALB 51, GOSHEN 46: Adison Daub scored 14 points, making 6 of 16 shots, and he had eight rebounds as the Barons won at home. Austin Macy added 10.
For Goshen, Jesse Good had 13 points.
WAWASEE 63, WHITKO 49: Ryndon Aarons 19 points led the Warriors at home.
JAY COUNTY 83, SOUTH ADAMS 33: Brock MacFarland scored 22 points for the Patriots on the road.
South Adams Chase Mosser had nine points.
WEST NOBLE 46, CHURUBUSCO 28: Drew Schermerhorns 15 points, including 6 of 7 from the free-throw line, led the Chargers at home.
Nick Noe added 11 points and Keith Gibson had 10.
HERITAGE 49, BELLMONT 46: Nate Scheumanns 18 points paced the Patriots at home. Wil Knapke and Derek Franke added 10 points apiece.
Bellmonts Parker Zeser had 17 points.
CANTERBURY 70, BETHANY CHRISTIAN 34: Bailey Farleys 23 points, on 8-of-14 shooting, paced the Cavaliers at home. Kindell Fincher had 17 points and 11 rebounds.
FREMONT 47, HAMILTON 35: Miranda Whites 16 points led the Eagles on the road. Hamilton got 15 points from Lindsey Stoy.
WARSAW 61, PLYMOUTH 41: The Tigers remained unbeaten at 6-0, after Lindsay Baker scored 17 points, including 3-of-8 shooting from three-point range, and Nicki Grose added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Warsaw got off to a 14-4 lead to take command.
Plymouths Haley Harrell scored 12 points.
NORWELL INVITATIONAL: The Knights won with 248 points, bettering second-place Oak Hill by 19. Adam Nahrwold won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1 minute, 8.24 seconds for Norwell.
HOMESTEAD INVITATIONAL: Chesterton won with 614 points, but Homestead was second with 507.
The Spartans Reagan Cook won the 200 individual medley in 2:07.17. Bailey Pressley won the 100 backstroke in 58.46 seconds.
KENNERK INVITATIONAL: Northrop had five wrestlers go undefeated and the Bruins won the meet at Bishop Luers.
Logan Aldrich was unbeaten at 113 pounds, Xavier Poindexter at 138, Dylan Lewis at 160, Noah Ortiz at 170 and Keiondre Scott Tanner at 285.
Maconaquah was second and South Side third, led by Austin Vasquezs undefeated run at 106 pounds.
