Verbatim: Emergency closure of Taylor Street

From a City of Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department report received Wednesday morning:

Please be advised Taylor St. is closed to all traffic between Ardmore Ave. and Jefferson Boulevard.

This emergency closure is due to a water main break on Taylor St. east of North Washington Road.

The duration of the closure will not be known until crews expose the water main break and determine the extent of the damage.
