Ants lead by 2

It's not necessarily the two-point halftime lead that is the big deal at the Coliseum on Saturday - even though the Ants are up 47-45 over Springfield.

After 27 turnovers in Friday's loss to Maine, the Ants have just 1 turnover. That came with 9:18 still to go in the second quarter when Tony Mitchell lost the ball out of bounds on a baseline drive.

Friday night's point guard, Ron Howard, is out with the flu, which means that normal point guard Walker Russell Jr. is back, even though he still is suffering from a pulled groin muscle. Russell has 6 assists and 6 points - all on free throws.

Miles Plumlee has 13 points to lead the Ants.

Newly-acquired forward Chris Porter made his first appearance. He played the final 1:39, and has 2 points.
