FORT WAYNE – A new City Utilities drive-up payment drop box on Berry Street in front of Citizens Square is now available for customers wishing to make payments for various services.
The drop box accepts payments for City Utilities bills, payments to the Violations Bureau for parking tickets and sewer payments to the Allen County Regional Water and Sewer District.
City Utilities reminds customers the payment drop box should not be used to make cash payments. Payments left in the box should be in an envelope and should be made by check or money order.
The box had been out of service since a City Utilities employee retrieving overnight payments discovered Oct. 1 it had been pried open.
Cash payments should be made in person at the City Utilities Customer Service Center, at Citizens Square, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; or the Violations Bureau on the first floor of Citizens Square; or to the Allen County Regional Water and Sewer District on the garden level of Citizens Square, at 200 E. Berry St. Customers can also use the drop box inside Citizens Square next to Customer Service.
City Utilities payments can also be made through Choice Pay by calling 877-306-9265, or online at www.fortwaynecityutilities.com.
