Pair stabbed during robbery

A man and woman were stabbed during a robbery Monday morning at an apartment on Fort Wayne’s south side, city police said.

The pair entered their apartment and encountered two robbers, one armed with a handgun. One of the robbers stabbed the man and woman before leaving, police said.

Officers were dispatched at 5:05 a.m. to Villa Capri Apartments at 1915 Fox Point Trail, east of South Anthony Extension.

The woman was hospitalized in fair condition, and the man, initially listed in critical condition, was upgraded to serious condition, police said.

Police had no other details and the case remains under investigation.
