I don't know what you make of this. But I know what I make of it.
That would be "Not much."
I mean, seriously? The guy intentionally whiffs on a block so his quarterback, who was nothing more heinous than playing lousy, would get hit and (hopefully) hurt?
Look, I don't care how awful Scott Mitchell was that particular day. I don't care that it happened a pile of years ago. And I especially don't care that Mitchell and Lomas Brown didn't exactly have the warmest of regards for each other.
Professional football - by the simple fact that it's, ahem, professional - demands a certain standard be met. And Brown not only didn't meet it, he tracked mud all over it.
Shame on the man. Shame on him.
