A man tried to rob a bank Friday afternoon on Fort Waynes north side but left without any money, city police said.
The man went into the Chase Bank branch at 3810 Coldwater Road, approached a teller and presented a note demanding money. Not able to get any cash, the man left the bank and headed north on foot, police said.

Customers were in the bank when the holdup attempt occurred, but no one was injured, police said. Witnesses told police the man did not show a weapon.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the man walking through the bank and standing at the tellers counter.
