Fort Wayne firefighters put out a pre-dawn fire Tuesday at a vacant two-story duplex on Wilt Street.

No one was injured in the 6:27 a.m. fire, which was under control 18 minutes later, the Fort Wayne Fire Department said.

Firefighters were called to 829 Wilt on a reported structure fire. They found flames showing from the back and smoke coming from the second floor, the department said.

The fire was confined to a bathroom and dining room. A search determined the house was not occupied.
