Meijer, of Grand Rapids, Mich., has recalled about 140,500 Falls Creek Kids infant and toddler denim jeans because the snap on the front may come loose and separate from the fabric, posing a choking hazard to young children.
No injuries have been reported, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a statement.
The boys and girls jeans in sizes 12 months to 5T were sold from June through November for about $12, the statement said. "Falls Creek Kids" is printed on a tag sewn on the inside back of the waistband. Jeans in sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-9 months are not included in the recall.
Consumers should stop using the jeans and bring them to the customer service desk at any Meijer or HEB store for a refund, the statement said.
