2 injured in fire at Ohio industrial facility

CINCINNATI, Ohio (AP) — Fire officials say at least two people suffered burns in an overnight explosion and fire at a hazardous waste facility in Cincinnati.

It happened at about 3:45 a.m. Friday at Environmental Enterprises Inc. Fire officials tell reporters that the sprinkler system put out a lot of the fire, and the rest was brought under control with foam.

Two people were taken to a hospital with burns. Details of their injuries weren't immediately available.

According to the company's website, it specializes in industrial and hazardous waste management and disposal and other services.
