Holiday closings

Tuesday is New Year’s Day and in observance of the holiday, government offices will be closed Tuesday, and in some cases Monday as well. Below is a list of northeast Indiana government offices and their holiday schedules.

•Community Harvest Food Bank will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

•U.S. District and Bankruptcy courts will be closed Tuesday.

•There will be no mail delivery Tuesday.

•State offices, including Bureau of Motor Vehicle branches, will be closed Tuesday.

•Trash collection by Waste Management and National Serv-All will be one day behind after Tuesday for the rest of the week.

Adams County offices and offices in Decatur, Berne and Geneva are closed Monday and Tuesday.

Allen County offices and offices in Fort Wayne, Huntertown, Grabill and New Haven are closed Monday and Tuesday. Municipal offices in Leo-Cedarville and Woodburn are closed Tuesday. Citilink buses will not run Tuesday. Fort Wayne garbage and recycling pickup will be one day behind after Tuesday.

DeKalb County offices and municipal offices in Ashley and Auburn will be closed Tuesday. Municipal offices in Butler and Garrett will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Municipal offices in Waterloo will close early Monday and be closed Tuesday.

Huntington County offices and municipal offices in Huntington and Andrews will be closed Tuesday. Municipal offices in Warren and Markle will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

Kosciusko County offices and municipal offices in Warsaw will be closed Tuesday. Municipal offices in North Webster, Pierceton, Silver Lake and Winona Lake will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

Noble County offices and municipal offices in Avilla will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Municipal offices in Albion, Kendallville, Ligonier and Rome City will be closed Tuesday.

Steuben County offices and municipal offices in Fremont and Orland will be closed Tuesday. Municipal offices in Angola and Hamilton will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

Wells County offices and municipal offices in Bluffton and Ossian will be closed Tuesday, and trash collection in the city of Bluffton will be delayed one day.

Whitley County offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday. Municipal offices in Churubusco will be closed Tuesday. Municipal offices in Columbia City will close at 11:30 a.m. Monday and be closed Tuesday. Municipal offices in South Whitley will close at noon Monday and be closed Tuesday.
