Play of the season? Maybe

The Komets' Brett Smith had what might be the best play of the season so far. He banked the puck off the boards, went around a Toledo defenseman, got the puck back, then circled the net before sending a pass to the blue line for Scott Kishel to score his first professional goal.

It tied this game at Memorial Coliseum at 2, and that's where we stand at the first intermission.

What had been the best play this season? Check this out.

The other Fort Wayne goal came from Jean-Michel Rizk, on a breakaway, after a loooong pass from Brent Henley.
