IPFW and Glenbrook Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center will offer a 12-week beginners computer course for seniors. The course will be taught by an IPFW instructor and will be held on consecutive Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Glenbrook Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, 3811 Parnell Ave. The course will cover essentials for using the computer, Internet fundamentals, navigating popular sites such as eBay and Amazon, email, social media and more. Participants will receive handouts and reference material. They should bring their own laptops, although Glenbrook Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center plans to have some computers available. The center welcomes the public to sign up for classes. The classes are free. All participants are required to register and may do so by calling Glenbrook Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center at 482-4651.
