Punter tapped for Pence event

Former Indianapolis Colts punter Hunter Smith will provide entertainment at Gov.-elect Mike Pence's upcoming inaugural praise and worship service.

The Hunter Smith Band is a country-pop-rock band from central Indiana that started in 2011. Smith, a Super Bowl champion, writes and records his own music. More information can be found at www.huntersmithband.com.

"We are thrilled to host the Hunter Smith Band at the upcoming Inaugural Praise and Worship Service," said incoming First Lady Karen Pence. "With less than a week until inaugural events begin, we look forward to welcoming Hoosiers from across the state for these exciting, family-friendly events."

Tickets for the service are free and still available. It is being held Sunday at the Indiana Convention Center at 1:30 p.m.
