Suspect sought in Monday robbery

Fort Wayne police are investigating a Monday morning robbery in the 2100 block of Fairfield Avenue.

The victim was followed from a gas station about 5 a.m. and then robbed of cash at gunpoint, police said in a statement. No one was injured.

The suspect was described as a black man wearing a black-and-yellow jacket with an emblem on the back. He also was wearing a winter hat and a dark hooded sweatshirt, police said.

Police detectives obtained video of the suspect, available by clicking on the link below, and ask anyone who knows who the suspect is to contact police or Crime Stoppers at 800-237-STOP.
