Verbatim: ISP investigating fatal crash in DeKalb County

Indiana State Police

From a report received Friday morning: The Indiana State Police, with the assistance of the DeKalb County Sheriff Department is currently on scene of a two vehicle fatal crash that occurred at approximately 8:30 this morning on State Road 1 just north of the Allen/DeKalb County Line.

State Road 1 between the County Line Road and County Road 68 is closed at this time and will be for the next few hours as crash reconstruction investigators gather their necessary information after which, the scene will be cleared of the vehicles and debris.

More information will come later as it becomes available for release.
