Man, 18, shot in leg along Oliver Street

A Fort Wayne man was found Wednesday night on Oliver Street with a gunshot wound to his leg, officials said.

Fort Wayne police responded to the 4000 block of Oliver about 8:20 p.m. after an officer reported hearing about 20 gunshots near McKinnie Avenue and Oliver, officials said.

As officers arrived, they found Antonio Dominguez, 18, lying in the grass on the side of the house, holding his right leg. He was taken to a hospital. His condition was not available.

Officers found shell casings on the west and south sides of the house and in the street in front of the house. The casings appeared to have come from at least two weapons, police said.
