Electrical fire damages vacant home

The Journal Gazette

The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a structure fire about 10 p.m. Monday at 2808 Taylor St. according to a news statement.

Crews saw smoke coming from the roof and eaves of the residence and forced entry. They found the home vacant.

The blaze was brought under control in about 15 minutes and an investigation revealed the cause to be electrical.
