Key matchup: Two guards could play the biggest factor in deciding tonight’s game. Harrison, a 6-foot-3 sophomore, is second in the Big East in scoring and leads the Red Storm in steals with 29. Notre Dame’s Jerian Grant, a 6-5 junior, is the Irish’s second-leading scorer, averaging 12.6 points, and he is second on the team in steals with 18.

The skinny: The Irish slid three spots in the Associated Press Top 25 after their 65-58 loss to Connecticut on Saturday ended their 12-game winning streak. … The Red Storm lost its last two games, falling 58-56 to Rutgers on Wednesday and 67-51 to Georgetown on Saturday.
