Veterans and city officials gathered Friday to rededicate the WWI Memorial moved to McCulloch Park, which has been on the fenced-in grounds of nearby General Electric for 89 years. The memorial was erected on Nov. 11, 1924, in honor of the 748 FortA moderate lake-effect band of snow band is traveling east along the Indiana Toll Road.
The National Weather Service in northern Indiana reported about 4:15 p.m. Monday that the snowfall of up to 1 inch an hour was moving into the northeast Indiana section of the Toll Road.
Gusty winds are expected to cause blowing and drifts, the weather service said, adding that drivers should use caution, particularly in open areas.
