Snowfall reported on Indiana Toll Road

A moderate lake-effect band of snow band is traveling east along the Indiana Toll Road.

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana reported about 4:15 p.m. Monday that the snowfall of up to 1 inch an hour was moving into the northeast Indiana section of the Toll Road.

Gusty winds are expected to cause blowing and drifts, the weather service said, adding that drivers should use caution, particularly in open areas.
