Stutzman named to 2 subcommittees

Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-3rd, announced Tuesday evening that he will be appointed to two subcommittees of the House Financial Services Committee.

Stutzman said he will be a member of the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit, which has jurisdiction over banks and depository institutions, and the Subcommittee on Domestic and International Monetary Policy, whose jurisdiction includes monetary policy, currency, commodity prices, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

Stutzman said the assignments will be voted on Wednesday when the full committee meets to adopt rules for the 113th Congress.
