Hoosiers hammer Penn State

Indiana made 11 three-pointers on the way to a 72-49 victory against Penn State Wednesday at Assembly Hall.

Victor Oladipo scored 19 points as the No. 7 Hoosiers improved to 17-2 overall and 5-1 in the Big Ten. Oladipo made two three-pointers. Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell made three three-pointers and finished with a career-high 15 points. Will Sheehey also made three three-pointers. He scored 12 points. Christian Watford had 10 points.

The 11 three-pointers match a season-high for IU. The Hoosiers also had 11 against Jacksonville on Dec. 28.

D.J. Newbill scored 18 points for the Nittany Lions (8-11, 0-7). Penn State shot 33.3 percent from the floor.
