Derby Girls to Host ‘Derby, Baby!’ viewing

Statement as issued Thursday by the Fort Wayne Derby Girls:

Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 24, 2013) The Fort Wayne Derby Girls will host a screening of the movie Derby, Baby!, a documentary film about the roller derby movement happening all over the world. Join the Fort Wayne Derby Girls and delve into their world of slick skating and fierce competition. The Screening will be held at IPFW in Neff Hall and attendants will have an opportunity to sit with the Derby Girls while they watch the film. Tickets can be purchased through a member of The Fort Wayne Derby Girls or at fwdgderbybaby.ticketleap.com.

Doors Open: 6:30pm

Movie begins at 7:00 pm

Admission:

Regular tickets $12 in advance $15 at the door.

VIP seating $15 in advance $20 at the door.

The charity based sports league competes both locally and nationally. Its current home season runs from January through June with bouts held at the Coliseum.
