Report: Tuiasosopo was voice of Te'o fake girlfriend on phone

The alleged mastermind behind the hoax that made Manti Te'o believe he had a relationship with a woman, who didn't exist, was the voice behind the Notre Dame All-American's fake girlfriend, according to a report in the New York Daily News.

Ronaiah Tuiasosopo used a falsetto voice to pose as Lennay Kekua when on the phone with Te'o, the 22-year-old Californian's lawyer told the paper.

Te'o "thought it was a female he was talking with," lawyer Milton Grimes told the Daily News. "It was Ronaiah as Lennay?"
