With more than 15 inches of precipitation so far this year, there’s no doubt this spring will bring out swarms of mosquitoes, experts say.The next few days could see up to 5 inches of snow in parts of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.
The National Weather Service in northern Indiana forecast said it is likely the region will have light snow overnight, with accumulations of less than an inch by Friday morning.
The snow is expected to continue all day, with accumulations of 2 to 5 inches possible by Saturday morning. The greatest accumulations are to be associated with lake-effect snow showers Friday afternoon and Friday night.
As the weather gets warmer, the weather service said the region is likely to see a wintry mix of precipitation Sunday night through Monday morning.
