Concordia has a chance for revenge and a whole lot more next Friday at Northrop.
The Cadets fell to the Bruins in the SAC tournament title game 68-62 on Dec. 29. In the rematch, the Cadets and the Bruins will be out to win the SAC regular-season championship.
"They beat us in the holiday tournament, so we want to beat them in the second go-around," Concordia junior D.J. McCall said after the Cadets' beat Wayne 61-56 on Friday.
If Northrop (5-1 SAC) beats Concordia (4-2), the Bruins win the conference title.
A Cadets' win would give them a chance at the title, but North Side (4-2) would also have to lose against last-place Bishop Dwenger (1-5), which has lost eight straight overall.
If Northrop, Concordia and North Side all finish with 5-2 SAC records, the Redskins take the title, holding the wins over the Bruins and Cadets.
