Erie leaders: D.J. Kennedy (18.3 points), Kennedy (5.2 rebounds), Kennedy (8.4 assists)

Key matchup: Kennedy, Erie’s 6-foot-6 mismatch on the wing, has become the BayHawks’ most valuable player. In the Ants’ last game against Erie, Kennedy had 17 points and 14 rebounds in the Ants’ 112-84 win.

The skinny: Mad Ants guard Ron Howard had an MRI on his injured knee Wednesday, but no severe damage was found. Howard has missed all but three minutes of the last three games – all Mad Ants’ losses. The Ants, who won eight consecutive games, are trying to right the ship, and the return of Howard will help. Backup point guard Anthony Harris played 44 minutes in the Ants’ 78-69 loss at Canton on Monday.
