Orizon Real Estate recently held its annual awards banquet. The 2012 award winners include Anita Hess and Tim Hess, top producers for the Kendallville office and top overall producers for the company. They were also recipients of the most improved award for its Kendallville office. The outstanding service award went to Michelle Eggering; the leadership award went to retiring agent Jim Cook; Janis Sobieski was honored with the community service award and five years of service; and best attitude award was given to Jodi Shuff also five years of service. Anita Hess, Tim Hess, Eggering, Cook, Sobieski and Shuff were also recognized for reaching multimillion-dollar sales volume in 2012, along with Terri Deming, Dawn Hurley and Dep Hornberger.

Building Contractors Association of Northeast Indiana announced its recent election of officers and directors to serve on its 2013 board of directors: Devon Kirk, Robert E. Stephen L. Fink, a partner in Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Fort Wayne office, recently appeared before the Ohio Supreme Court and has been admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio. In addition to his Ohio admission, Fink is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, and the Sixth and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Daniel Goff of Northern Insurance recently completed the P&C licensing class and then passed the licensing examination in Indiana. He has been appointed customer service specialist.
