For starters

The hottest team in the Big Ten comes to Assembly Hall as Indiana faces No. 13 Michigan State.

The Spartans have won six in a row. The most recent victory was at Wisconsin.

"They have always been able to run, so we know that is a big part of their game," IU guard Jordan Hulls said. "They want to run and get baskets in transition. Maybe they are a little more athletic this year, but we know that we have to play good defense."

The No. 7 Hoosiers have won two in a row.

"We have to really take care of the ball, but at the same time, be aggressive and make them work on offense, in the sense of changing the passing angles and not letting them just throw the ball through us," IU coach Tom Crean said. "We have to make them throw it over us or around us. And we can't let them come down and run comfortable offense all the time. We will see how it turns out."

Rebounding will be key. Indiana is first in the Big Ten in rebounding margin (plus-10.8). Michigan State is fourth (plus-7.6).
