Homestead's festivities on Senior Night didn't take too long Tuesday because it was a Party of One.
The lone senior on the Spartans' roster this year is guard Emily Bley, who has only played in three games this year and suffered her second ACL injury in the last six months that ended her basketball career.
Bley, also a talented soccer player who missed all of that season, scored 1,000 points in her basketball career but is headed to Indiana University as just a student in the fall.
She first injured her knee in the summer and was recovering from the injury at the beginning of the season. She got back into action briefly, but a second injury ended things for Bley.
The Senior Night was changed by Homestead to "Emily Bley Night."
Homestead coach Rod Parker said Bley is scheduled to have a second surgery in the next couple of weeks.
