Strudel needs a home

Strudel is a 7-month-old neutered black and white medium-sized pointer mix.

“Hello, my name is Strudel! I was transferred from the Clinton County Humane Society to the Allen County SPCA. I am a typical puppy who does need help learning manners.

“I am very sweet and playful! I need help with my housebreaking but please so patient with me and give me an adjustment period when I come home with you.

“The staff recommends you crate train me to help me with housebreaking and learning the ropes of my new home. I do not require a fence or trolley to come home with you but I will need daily walks for exercise to keep me happy.

“I would love to attend puppy classes with you where I can work on manners and learn some cool new tricks! The staff feels I would probably do best in a home with children who will be okay with my puppy energy level. I do well with other dogs and don’t seem to mind cats either.

“If I sound like the perfect pup to add to your home please ask to play with me today!”

He is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.

The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
