3 escape Lynn Avenue fire

Two adults and a child escaped a fire that damaged a Lynn Avenue duplex Friday night.

Firefighters were called at 9:47 p.m. to the blaze at 2502 1/2 Lynn Ave. The fire was contained to an upstairs apartment and caused moderate damage, the fire department said.

Crews brought the fire under control in 10 minutes. The cause remains under investigation. There were no injuries, the department said.
