Police: 1 killed, 3 wounded in Phoenix drive-by

PHOENIX – Phoenix police say one person has died and three others wounded in a drive-by shooting outside of a home.

Authorities said a dark green vehicle pulled up to the home around 2:30 p.m. Friday and someone fired multiple rounds at the four victims. Two of the victims – a man and a woman – suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the vehicle with four men inside fled after the shooting. Arizona Department of Public Safety officers are assisting in the search for the shooter.

Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Martos said it’s unclear if any of the victims are related. He wouldn’t say if the shooting was gang-related or if the victims were targeted.
