Bruce Ewing Landscaping received an award from the Indiana Nursery and Landscape Association at the 2012 Green Excellence Award ceremony at the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis. The ceremony was held in conjunction with the Indiana Green Expo. The business won in residential landscape maintenance, presented for a private residential project in the Fort Wayne area.

WaterFurnace Renewable Energy Inc. announced that the board has approved the regular quarterly dividend of 24 cents per share. The dividend will be paid March 1 to shareholders of record at the market close of Feb. 20.

The board of directors for 1st Source Corp. has approved a cash dividend of 17 centers per common share. The cash dividend is payable on Feb. 15 to shareholders of record on Feb. 4.

An affiliate home care agency of Lutheran Health Network, Summit Home Health, will now operate as Lutheran Health Network Home Health. The name change for the agency took effect on Jan. 1 in an effort to more clearly align itself with the Lutheran network of health care facilities and services.

Business awards were presented at the Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber’s 101st Annual Chamber Membership Dinner, including Wal-Mart Supercenter for BLN Employer of the Year; Miller’s Senior Living Community for service; Bartel Printing for general business; and Bishop Farms for industry. OrthoPediatrics received the Entrepreneur of the Year award. Individual honors were awarded to Jan Orban of CBRE|Bradley, Warsaw, for Chamber Ambassador of the Year; Monica Wilson of United Way of Kosciusko County for Young Adult Professional of the Year; and Becky Anglin of the Warsaw Police Department for Government Excellence. Man & Woman of the Year were Mary Ettinger and Jerry Clevenger for their enormous contributions to the community.

Northern Indiana Public Service Co. has launched a pilot program that allows customers to designate a portion, or all, of their monthly electric usage to be attributable to power generated by renewable energy sources, such as wind power.

The board of directors of Franklin Electric Co. Inc. declared a quarterly cash dividend of .145 cents per share payable Feb. 21 to shareowners of record on Feb. 7.

Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne is currently recruiting high-tech startup companies to participate in the Purdue University systemwide Interns for Indiana program.
