Indiana center Cody Zeller shared the Big Ten player of the week honor with Michigan State guard Keith Appling, the conference announced Monday.
Zeller averaged a double-double with 19 points and 10 1/2 rebounds in the Hoosiers' victories over Purdue (97-60 Wednesday) and Michigan (81-73 Saturday).
The 7-foot sophomore had 19 points and 11 rebounds against Purdue and 19 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks against Michigan. This is the second time this season he has won player of the week honors.
