A man who managed a tae kwon do studio in Fort Wayne is accused of stealing $32,000 from the business.

Brian E. Taubert, 46, of the 2900 block of Simcoe Drive, was charged Thursday with felony theft. He had not been arrested Friday night.

On Oct. 9, the owner of Stellhorn Taekwondo at 6063 Stellhorn Road reported the theft to city police, court documents stated.

The owner told investigators she learned that $32,000 was missing after her accountant found discrepancies in the business’s financial statements.

The owner confronted Taubert who admitted to taking the money, and he later resigned, according to court documents.
