Hoosiers top Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Indiana may have made a case for keeping the No. 1 ranking.

The Hoosiers defeated No. 10 Ohio State 81-68 Sunday afternoon in Value City Arena, putting their road loss to Illinois on Thursday behind them.

Indiana (20-3, 9-2) kept pace with Michigan State for first place in the Big Ten with the win, and the Hoosiers won at Ohio State (17-6, 7-4) for the first time since 2008.

Victor Oladipo led the way for the Hoosiers with 26 points and eight rebounds. Cody Zeller had 24 points and eight rebounds, and Christian Watford had 20.

Deshaun Thomas, a former Bishop Luers standout, had 26 points for the Buckeyes. Aaron Craft scored 16 for Ohio State before fouling out, and LaQuinton Ross had 11.
