Slain 18-year-old is identified

An 18-year-old Fort Wayne man found dead in a southeast-side neighborhood early Monday has been identified.

Nathaniel Jishaun Rainer was found shot to death in a vacant lot near the corner of Smith and Emily streets, the Allen County Coroner's Office said Monday afternoon.

His death has been ruled a homicide, the fourth this year in Fort Wayne and Allen County.
