Carroll sophomore Chandler White is a star on the rise.
But he can't do much when he is in foul trouble and sitting on the bench. Snider discovered that in a 59-49 win over the Chargers on Tuesday.
White picked up his second foul with 3:48 left in the first quarter and didn't return until the third.
He finished with 16 points, 14 in the second half.
"Chandler is a great player," said Snider senior Aaron Washington, who drew defensive assignment on White. "We tried to keep him contained. I tried to play good defense on him, and that's all we could do.
"With Chandler on the floor, you are worried about where he is or where he has to be. Without him out there, you can run; I can pass to Stephen (Halstead), Trey'von (Covington) or Lee (Leander Williams), and I know they will finish for me."
Washington had 13 points, with Stephen Halstead leading the way with 18 points.
