Snow heads this way

FORT WAYNE – The National Weather Service in northern Indiana says it is likely northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio will see snow today through Sunday morning.

It issued a statement Friday morning saying that no hazardous weather is forecast. Any snow today is not expected to be heavy.

Light snow accumulations are predicted for Saturday, especially along and north of U.S. 30.

Some areas of northeast Indiana might see heavier lake-effect snow, the weather service said, but it is not expected to be widespread.
