Authorities investigate the scene of a crash just after noon Thursday at West Jefferson Boulevard and West Main Street. Fort Wayne police say a man was driving a Mercury Sable west on Jefferson when he collided with an eastbound semi that turned north onto Main, causing the car to become wedged under the trailer. The driver of the car was taken to a hospital in fair condition. The driver of the semi was not injured. The intersection was closed to traffic for about 25 minutes, police said.
