AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — A Georgia congressman is offering his constituents help as they prepare to pay the taxman.

Rep. John Barrow, an Augusta Democrat, is planning a series of tax preparation fairs across his east Georgia district next week. Barrow says he'll have tax experts available to answer questions, review returns and give Georgians advice on filing.

The tax fairs will be held in Dublin on Tuesday, in Reidsville on Wednesday, in Statesboro on Thursday and in Augusta on Friday.

The events are free and no appointments are necessary.
