Strong winds are expected to continue buffet the region today, according to the National Weather Service in northern Indiana.
It said Tuesday morning that sustained west winds of 20 mph to 30 mph with gusts between 35 mph and 45 mph might make driving difficult for some high-profile vehicles in some areas.
The hazardous outlook was issued for the following counties:
- Indiana – LaGrange, Steuben, Noble, DeKalb, Starke, Pulaski, Marshall, Fulton, Kosciusko, Whitley, Allen, White, Miami, Wabash, Huntington, Wells, Adams, Grant, Blackford and Jay.
- Ohio – Williams, Fulton, Defiance, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Allen.
Ohio communities in the hazardous outlook area include Montpelier, Portland, Dunkirk, Bryan, Wauseon, Archbold, Fayette, Swanton, Defiance, Sherwood, Hicksville, Napoleon, Deshler, Liberty Center, Paulding, Antwerp, Melrose, Ottawa, Pandora, Kalida, Fort Jennings, Van Wert, Delphos, Ohio City, Lima and Spencerville.
