After directing Saint Francis to the Crossroads League co-championship, Saint Francis womens basketball coach Gary Andrews was selected as the conferences coach of the year.
In addition, senior guard Kayla Drake was named to the all-conference first team, while Skylarr Shurn was named second team, Meghan Slusher honorable mention and Brooke Ridley named as freshman of the year.
Junior Scott Kohne was named to the All-Crossroads Leagues mens team.
It is the second coach of the year honor for Andrews, in his 12th season.
Saint Francis (27-3, 16-2) finished tied for first in the Crossroads League with Indiana Wesleyan.
Drake averaged 16 points per game and was in double figures 23 of the Cougars 30 games. She also led the league in steals per game (3.3) and total steals (99).
Drake, who scored 34 points had had 11 rebounds in the Cougars victory over Marian, was named the leagues player of the week.
Shurn averaged 14.7 points per game, Slusher averaged 10.2, and Ridley, who averaged 10.3 points, broke the single-season record for blocked shots, with 82.
Kohne, also named to the All-Defensive Team, had 17 double-doubles and averaged 19.3 points and 10.3 rebounds.
Josh Hogan, who averaged 10.5 points, was named honorable mention.
