For the police officer, the man’s body language was the giveaway. His combative stance and his abrupt hand movement hinted at the possibility of danger.The Adams County Sheriff's Department is investigating a crash Thursday morning that left one person dead.
The crash was called in to the 911 center shortly before 6:10 a.m. When deputies, the Preble Fire Department and Adams County EMS personnel arrived at the scene at County Road 900 N near 550 W, they found a single vehicle, the sheriff's department said in a written statement.
The driver and only known occupant died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
