So much for more finishing

When last we saw the Komets, in a 6-3 loss at Toledo, Ohio, on Sunday, they were bemoaning their inability to finish scoring chances.

It's been even worse tonight.

Matt Syroczynski missed the net on a shot from point-blank range, and that was followed by Cincinnati's goal by David Pacan from the right circle.

And Fort Wayne's Brandon Marino got a short-handed breakaway and didn't even take a shot until he was behind the net.

The goods news is new goalie Jeff Deslauriers looks solid.
