Maggio probably not returning

The American Hockey League's Lake Erie Monsters have informed the Komets that defenseman Daniel Maggio will probably not be returned to Fort Wayne.

Maggio had five goals, 18 points and 147 penalty minutes in 43 games this season with the Komets, and he was their lone all-star.

In seven games with Lake Erie, he has one goal, two points and 31 penalty minutes.
