Home raid yields meth haul, 4 arrests

Four people face charges after the discovery of a meth-making operation at a north-side home, according to Fort Wayne police.

On Saturday, police raided 1436 Oakland St., near Sherman Boulevard and Spring Street, and they found evidence of methamphetamine labs and ingredients, police said. Two men and two women who lived in the house were arrested.

Chad Kinney, 34, was charged with manufacturing meth, possession of meth precursors, possession of drug paraphernalia and cocaine possession. David Butler, 27, was charged with manufacturing meth, possession of meth precursors and dealing meth.

Vanessa Moyer, 30, was charged with meth possession, possession of meth precursors and possession of drug paraphernalia. Brylynn Denise, 28, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. All four were additionally charged with maintaining a common nuisance.

Kinney and Butler were in custody Tuesday at the Allen County Jail. Kinney’s bail was $60,000; Butler’s was $105,000. Moyer and Denise were released on their own recognizance.
